See it in Colour

from Colour EP by Sulu Babylon

about

See it in Colour is a track we know very well. From the early days of us starting out we recording an exclusive acoustic version with the band and it is brilliant to hear the final product after all these years.
It is a perfect way to open the EP up, a fan favourite and a powerful anthem that demonstrates Sulu Babylon’s many talents and qualities. It shows raw power and determination for the time they have spent on the release and paves way for the rest of the tracks to follow suit.

lyrics

See it in colour

Whisper things softly into my ears,
Annunciate the words so that I can hear
And I can paint pictures with many colours
But I can’t paint myself no only others

Meet me in the bedroom at night
Explore my mind turn out the lights
'Cause I can see shapes in vivid colours
And I can feel myself and just one other

(Chorus)
Picture you there without motion
You can change a mans devotion
And I can feel a fire burning
But without light I’m left here yearning

Hide behind words and acronyms
And melodies played on six steel strings
Whisper the words into my ears
Giving me confidence now and for years
